Your arteries are the all-important blood vessels that carry nutrient-rich blood throughout the body from the heart. So it makes perfect sense that you’d want to strengthen these precious tubes in the best way. Our Brawny Blood Vessels Blueberry Shake highlights ingredients, like macadamia nuts, that contain cardiovascular-specific nutrients to promote arterial health. Enjoying this macadamia nuts smoothie helps deter the onset of some serious illnesses, including arteriosclerosis (hardening of the arteries) and coronary artery disease (CAD). Sipping a daily dose of this blueberry coconut shake is one of the best things you can do for your major organs, especially your heart.

Coconut milk: helps to lower blood pressure. High blood pressure puts a strain on arterial walls and over time may cause blood clots or ruptures that can lead to heart attack or death.
Blueberries: reduce the risk of stroke due, in part, to a high concentration of potassium. Weak, unhealthy arteries are often a precursor to stroke, which is caused by poor blood flow from the heart to the brain.
MCT oil: can help boost your high-density (HDL) “good” cholesterol in order to combat the presence of low-density (LDL) “bad” cholesterol. If left unchecked, LDL cholesterol can build up along the walls of the arteries, causing them to stiffen—which describes a condition known as atherosclerosis.
Cashews: have been found to reverse arterial stiffness. Vitamin K, especially vitamin K2, exists in cashews in trace amounts, but the nutrient has a rather significant effect on the cardiovascular system.
Hemp seeds: address zinc deficiencies, which can lead to high blood pressure buildup in the arteries.
Macadamia nuts: sustain healthy arteries with their monounsaturated fats.
Monk fruit sweetener: helps combat free radical damage that can trigger cerebral arterial spasms.
