Go Nuts for This Protein Smoothie

Cinnamon and nutmeg give this morning smoothie a burst of flavor, while cacao nibs offer the kick you need to get going. Mix one up the next time you’re feeling sluggish. Who knows? You might not even need your morning coffee after imbibing this weight-loss shake.

  •  Ready In: 5 minutes
  • 1 banana, frozen

  • 1/2 cup walnuts

  • 1/2 cup almond milk

  • 1/2 cup coconut milk

  • Dash cinnamon

  • Dash nutmeg

  • 1 tablespoon cacao nibs

  1. Toss into the blender or food processor 1 banana, peeled and frozen.

  2. Add 1/2 cup walnuts.

  3. Pour in 1/2 cup almond milk.

  4. Add 1/2 cup coconut milk.

  5. Sprinkle in a dash of cinnamon.

  6. Add a dash of nutmeg.

  7. Blend all ingredients. Add 1 tablespoon cacao nibs as it's blending. You can add milk until desired consistency is achieved.

  8. Pour into a tall glass and drink immediately.
