Green Machine Veggie Smoothie

Our Green Machine Veggie Smoothie is packed with vitamin- and mineral-rich vegetables to keep you healthy. This veggie recipe also contains heart-healthy potassium, antioxidants, and omega-3 fatty acids. Add some protein to make you feel full and prevent potentially unhealthy snacking between meals, and you’ve got a veggie-rich meal to enjoy at home or take on the go. With our veggie smoothie abundant in kale, spinach, cauliflower, and cucumber, you can even say that you had a salad (we won’t tell!).

Ingredients
  • 1 cup chopped and stemmed kale

  • 1/2 cup baby spinach

  • 1/2 cup frozen cauliflower

  • 1/2 cup celery

  • 1 Persian cucumber, cut into chunks

  • 1/2 lemon, peeled and cut into chunks

  • 1/4 cup almonds

  • 1 1/2 cups chilled green tea

  • 2 teaspoons chia seeds

  • 2 teaspoons bee pollen

  • 2 teaspoons ground flax seed

Instructions
  1. Pour 1 1/2 cups of chilled green tea into your blender or food processor.

  2. Add 1 cup of chopped and stemmed kale.

  3. Add 1/2 cup baby spinach and 1/2 cup celery.

  4. Scoop 1/2 cup frozen cauliflower into the blender or food processor.

  5. Cut 1 Persian cucumber into chunks and add to the other ingredients.

  6. Peel 1/2 lemon and cut into chunks; then add into the blender or food processor.

  7. Scoop 1/4 cup of almonds in with the other ingredients.

  8. Finish with 2 teaspoons of chia seeds, 2 teaspoons bee pollen, and 2 teaspoons of ground flax seed.

  9. Blend until smooth.

  10. Enjoy!
