Rainbow Layered Smoothie

  • Red Layer:

  • 1/2 frozen banana

  • 1/2 cup coconut yogurt

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries

  • 1 tablespoon beet powder

  • Splash of water

  • Orange Layer:

  • 1 cup frozen pineapple

  • 1/2 cup coconut yogurt

  • 1/2 cup frozen peaches

  • 1 orange

  • Splash of carrot juice

  • Yellow Layer:

  • 1/2 frozen banana

  • 1/2 cup coconut yogurt

  • 1 cup frozen mango

  • 2 teaspoons turmeric

  • Splash of water

  • Green Layer:

  • 1/2 frozen banana

  • 1 cup frozen pineapple

  • 1/2 cup coconut yogurt

  • 2 teaspoons green spirulina

  • Purple Layer:

  • 1/2 frozen banana

  • 1/2 cup coconut yogurt

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries

  • 2 teaspoons blue spirulina

  • Splash of water

  1. Add to a blender or food processor all the ingredients from the red section above.

  2. Combine until smooth.

  3. Pour ingredients into a large, tall clear glass. Freeze for 15 minutes.

  4. Rinse the blender.

  5. Add all ingredients from the next section (orange).

  6. Combine until smooth.

  7. Add blended ingredients to the glass, pouring on top of previous section (red). Do not mix sections together. Freeze for 15 minutes.

  8. Rinse the blender.

  9. Repeat steps 5 through 7 with the yellow, green, and purple ingredients, respectively.

  10. Enjoy your beautiful and delicious creation.
