Red, White and Blue July 4th Smoothie

  •  Ready In: 75 minutes
  • Layer One:

  • 1 cup coconut cream

  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries

  • 2 teaspoons beet powder

  • Layer Two:

  • 1 cup coconut cream

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 1 teaspoon maca

  • Layer Three:

  • 1 cup coconut cream

  • 1/4 cup butterfly pea flower tea concentrate

  • 1 teaspoon blue spirulina powder

  • 1 frozen banana

  1. Blend first layer and pour in glass. Freeze for 20 minutes.

  2. Blend second layer and pour in glass. Freeze for 20 minutes.

  3. Steep pea flowers in hot water for 10 minutes and strain.

  4. Add the pea flower liquid to the blender with the rest of the ingredients from layer three and pour over the second layer.

  5. From here, you can freeze for 20 mins to create a thicker smoothie throughout or you can enjoy the top layer fresh while the second and bottom layers start to soften.
