  2. Chop 1/2 cup jicama into cubes, then toss on top of the banana.

  3. Pour in 1 cup of coconut milk.

  4. Scoop in a 1/2 cup of pumpkin puree.

  5. Measure out 1 teaspoon of pumpkin spice blend and 2 teaspoons of stevia and add to the rest of the ingredients.

Health Benefits
  1. Banana: is a valuable dietary source of potassium, which our bodies need to regulate fluid levels, manage cellular nutrient intake and waste disposal, assist with muscle contraction and nerve cell response, regularize heart rhythm, and balance blood pressure.

  2. Jicama: is chock-full of vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients and dietary fiber—and with only 35 calories per 100 grams—this is a phenomenal low-calorie food to include as part of a diet plan designed to encourage weight loss.

  3. Coconut milk: approximately 93% of this creamy liquid’s calories come from fat, primarily from medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs). These powerful fatty acids can help you meet your weight-loss goals by decreasing appetite, extending feelings of fullness, and boosting fat-burning capacity.

  4. Pumpkin puree: with over 7 grams in a single serving, pumpkin puree is a fantastic way to meet your daily fiber needs! Fiber delays the release of sugar into your bloodstream, optimizes digestion, and can even reduce your risk of colon cancer.

  5. Pumpkin spice blend: the exact makeup of pumpkin spice blends vary, but cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and allspice typically appear. That means some likely health benefits are better blood sugar control and relief from digestive discomfort.

  6. Stevia: a healthful sugar alternative that’s classified as a zero-calorie food, since a 1-gram serving contains less than 1 gram of carbohydrates.
